The Knight has a handy tool called a Dream Nail that reveals the most recent thoughts of anything they hit with it.

If you want your character to be immune to it or if something out of the ordinary happens when they try, just let me know!

The Knight is also post-ending and will therefore be uh, MONDO SPOILERS for a lot of game content. If you want me to not mention those in specifics, just tell me.

Current appearance [starts wearing this outfit August 2018]:


- Child-sized. Two feet tall including horns.
- lifeaftr Has a charm that makes them temporarily six feet tall and fully grown.
Adult appearance:

Six feet tall.

- Extremely competent at combat.
- Cannot speak or make sounds verbally. Can read and write; seems to possess some artistic skill (draws own maps and doodles on them).
- Seems to be able to consume things, possibly by drawing those things into their body.
- Shadowy body composition. When wounded, they briefly bleed shadow before it seals up again. When critically injured, they begin to rapidly bleed shadow and leave a trail of it in the air. (In lifeaftr, they no longer leave a Shade behind.)
- Can drain soul from enemies by attacking them and absorb it, then use it for healing or spells. (Notes: In lifeaftr, this only works on NPC monsters, not player characters or any other NPC type.)
- Carries a pure nail, their major melee weapon.

- They also possess a metal trinket that serves for the focus of the dream nail, a tool that can read the minds of others and the lingering memories of corpses. It allows the bearer to see supernatural phenomena like ghosts. (Note: In lifeaftr it can only read living surface thoughts, not dead ones.)
